“While in Colorado, the band spent 12 hours on set filming their cameo for the Sugarloaf biopic, inside Denver’s historic ‘Aztlan Theater’. While on set, they took the opportunity to meet the cast and crew as well as lend the production team some of their guitars for the film.”

Dutchman fly into 2026 with a new album,a‍ ‍cinematic video and not one but two new retro-rock tracks: The Sugarloaf-sweetened Papa Froncand the groovy Springfield ’78 — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

Dutchman found themselves traveling west to Cripple Creek, Colorado. There, perched in a remote cabin at 10,500 feet called “The Fern House”, they recorded additional material in an environment Fez describes as “a place where the music could breathe.”

Dutchman embodies a vintage-revivalist spirit, while of course forging their own unique identity. Their latest creations emerged from a transformative trek that the duo, Johnson & Gravatt, started from Delaware, leading up to the ‘Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’ in Cleveland, Ohio, then onto Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee, before finally returning home to Delaware. This journey immersed them in the musical heritage that has influenced their artistic stride.

“On The Run” delivers the magic that vital keyboardist Franco Solorzano can create with just two chords and an attitude. Moreover, “Springfield ‘79” is set to be a sonic punch in the face of an action-packed electric guitar driven instrumental. These singles promise to present the band at the peak of their artistic expression thus far, setting the stage for an exciting new chapter in their musical journey.

The piano is the star of the track, reminiscent of almost any Elton John song from the 70’s or “Lady” by Styx. Dutchman is letting it all out during the passionate screaming guitar solo before we close out with one last driving chorus. Harrington, Delaware's Dutchman have arrived, and this four piece are on the "Run Run Run" with this, their new single - available now.

Freshly pressed from their debut offering, Dutchman Vol. 1 — a follow-up to the group’s breakthrough EP, A Broken Man’s Life and precursor to Dutchman Vol. 2 — the song harnesses the sonic talents of the band’s initial lineup: Jake Dutcher (vox/rhythm guitar), and Connor Johnson (vox/lead guitar), alongside Garrett Gravatt (lead/rhythm guitar) and Franco Solorzano (keys/bass), who were added shortly after first forming in 2017.
